Starting from the quieter Newbuildings, k line in JV with TCC ordered a cape bulker in imabari for q2 17 while shin kurushima has won an order for two 60,000 dwt ultramaxes costing abt $30 mill each.

Meandros agreed with sundong to build one option one suezmaxes for $66 mill each while HMD won an order from thenamaris for two 38,000 cbm LPG carriers for $53 mill each. Hanjin agreed to build two 1900 teu ice class containers for $35 mill apiece while Hyundai agreed with hoegh LNG to build a 5^th FSRU!

Lets continue with the dry 2^nd hand sales. Panagopoulos paid $19,5 mill for the ‘medi sentosa’ 83,000 dwt built 08 japan and $22,8 mill for the ‘fiskardo’83,000 dwt built 10 japan while glory paid $5,4 mill to acquire in auction the ex Tsangaris ship the ‘eleni T’ 27,000 dwt built 97 china 4x30. Chinese spent 5,8 mill for the ‘ever regal’ 23,000 dwt built 98 tsuneishi cebu 4x30. RGL agreed to pay $44 mill for the ‘first ibis’ 208,000 dwt built 10 japan, carval paid $42,5 mill for the ‘mineral manila’ 180,000 dwt built 11 hajin subic and greeks paid $42 mill for the ‘cassiopeia bulker’ 180,000 dwt built 11 hanjin. Chinese paid $7,5 mill for the ‘channel ranger’ 43,000 dwt built 95 japan 4x25 while the ‘li lian’ 24,000 dwt built 99 japan 4x30 got $6,6 mill. Silver lake paid $14,6 mill for the ‘mulberry wilton’ 76,000 dwt built 04 japan, the ‘sansho’ 55,000 dwt built 12 japan 4x35 got $25,5 mill and the ‘acs diamond’ 53,000 dwt built 05 china 4x36 got only $10,2 mill from stam shipping! turks paid $17,5 mill for the ‘pacific triangle’ 185,000 dwt built 2000 korea, RGL paid $41 mill for the ‘first eagle’ 180,000 dwt built 10 japan and greeks paid $12 mill for the ‘global winner’ 161,000 dwt built 97 korea. Lets finish off with the tanker sales. The uncloiled ‘OS breeze’ 134,000 dwt built 96 korea got $13,6 mill while the ‘bright pacific’ 48,000 dwt built 04 japan epoxy was snapped by great eastern  for $15 mill with SS due. The ‘overseas sovereign’ 310,000 dwt built 96 japan was sold for $22 mill to nathalin for conversion while the ‘overseas equatorial’ 300,000 dwt built 97 korea was also sold for conversion at the same price. Laliotis paid $17,3 mill for the ‘montenero’ 40,000 dwt built 06 korea epoxy while the ‘chinook maiden’ 45,000 dwt built 96 korea zinc got $6,1 mill. The ‘nautilus’ 43,000 dwt built 98 croatia epoxy got $9,2 mill and last but not least Maersk paid target 140 mill to acquire enbloc their 4 korean MR resales!
